You’re the one…
You’re the one…
You are the one,
whose smile lights up my whole day ;
the one who walks with me through everything -
the easy,
and the not-so-easy.
You’re the one whose opinion matters to me,
more than anyone else’s…
You understand my quirks,
forgive my weaknesses,
and know my heart.
You brought something to life in me that was sleeping till you kissed it awake.
And no matter how long we’ve known each other,
or how well I think I know you,
you still surprise me.
You mark a turning point in my life -
everything is either before us or after us.
And after us is so much better -
because you make my world so beautiful…
I love you.

Merry Christmas, my love…
Christmas exchange II
Christmas exchange II
(date & time editted. it’s 4th Jan 1145PM now..)
how time flies…
Christmas ‘05 felt like yesterday…
anyhow…
we have 2 exchanges this year -
with Rayson’s family ,
and with Jack, Shi Ying, Jing Yang, Jocelyn…
we started the afternoon with a bowling session at Marina Square.
a rather rushed one cuz -
1) the queue was long
2) we had a movie to catch 45minutes or so after we got the alley
it was soon time for dinner.
we headed down to Clarke Quay/Mohd Sultan area.

dinner at ZEN, Japanese restaurant.
there was this cute Santa candle :

table setting

the guys doing their ordering

dinner’s fine…
‘cept that i don’t exactly take medium rare steak…
i don’t like the blood.
uh, yea…

a picture of us ‘06

a picture of us ‘05
realise that it’s the same seating arrangement,
‘cept on different sides…
lol
we then decided to head out to do our gift exchange.
we wanted to go to the colour bridge at first :

the bridge where reel life characters break up…
then we saw many tourists, i assume, taking pictures.
so we decided to go elsewhere.
we needed the ladies and gents,
and we somehow ended up at the lobby of Gallery Hotel…
here’re pictures, taken by Jack.
kinda special
enjoy.

we then (finally) decided to do our gift exchange.

we were figuring how to go about the exchange…

we finally decided on the “lucky draw” thang,
which took us quite some time to make sure we do not get our own present…

what baby and i got…

then there were some magic shows by baby and Jack…

we finally decided to bid each other farewell…
while waiting for the bus…

baby was telling Jing Yang & Jocelyn some army “stories”…
see how shocked(?)/worried(?) Jing Yang looked ;
and how Jocelyn’s getting worried bout army for Jing Yang…
(i don’t know what is really going through their minds…. duh…)
then i saw this…

“Disarm nukes.
Bring back chewing gum
Score a billion hits a day.
Become the world’s first trillionaire.
Donate it all and start all over again.
What will you do to be remembered?“

love of my life and me…
P.S. realise that it’s the same agenda for ‘05 and ‘06, with the same people… i wonder if ‘07 will be the same…
the holiday

Janise and I watched THE HOLIDAY on Friday.
i think it’s fantabulous.
(:
i wouldn’t mind watching it again!
^^
Jude Law’s oh-so-charming!
i remembered something like this in the opening scene,
“Love doesn’t have a holiday…”
makes much sense…
no?
—-
i learnt not to take a person for granted,
no matter how that person will always be there for you.
i learnt not to be stupid and be taken for granted for so long,
(Iris (by Kate Winslet) was taken for granted for 3years… and she never failed to be there…)
and to walk out if the other person isn’t reciprocating.
i learnt that a relationship has ended if one person two-times.
i learnt that love doesn’t come by easy.
i learnt that there’s a lot of give-and-take.
i learnt that distance doesn’t deter love.
i learnt that one’s past doesn’t determine present or future.
(cuz that person’s learnt a lesson…)
—-
it’s Christmas tomorrow.
the day Jesus was born,
so that He could wash away our sins (with His blood).
what is love?
Love is God sending His beloved Son to die for us on the cross,
so that we may be saved…
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” -John 3:16-17
Dear God,
thank you for teaching me love, by setting an example yourself… … … …I haven’t been a good girl all year, but i want to be a good girl. Thank you for being there for me always, even though i haven’t been there for you (at all…). … … …
